Light 'Em Up!

Last month we hosted an interschool championship with Twin Dragons and Gym Kids. It was a great turnout and a great match all around! Contratulations to all those who competed. Sabumnim will be hosting the Nova Fitness Championship, and expects all his students to attend!

Do Your Part for the School! Recruit!

Wouldn't it be fun to take Tae Kwon Do with your friends and neighbors? How about your parents? They drop you off for practice, they might as well stick around take a crack at Basic Form 1! No man is an island. Help the school expand by bringing in a friend or relative.

Gripe, Whine, Moan

There are times in every parent's and student's life when he or she may not agree with the school's sabumnim. Like many schools, we understand that not everything will be done as a parents and students would like. However, unlike many schools, we welcome appropriate questions, suggestions, and criticisms. If something confuses or concerns you, please do not go away mad or gather in dark corners whispering about your confusions and concerns. Instead, speak to sabumnim before or after class, call him, or email him. Sabumnim is always willing to clarify any misunderstandings and welcomes constructive criticism. The school is here to help develop students physically and mentally. Together with sabumnim's expertise and your insight we hope to achieve that goal.

Carpenters

Any of you students taking "shop" or woodworking at school? Have we got a project for you. The school is still in desperate need for new benches. If there is anyone willing to build new benches, please speak with sabumnim. They don't have to be fancy. They just have to work.

Kwanjanim

Hooray for Kwanjangnim! He and his wife will be expecting a new bundle of joy in September!

Sabumnim

Sabumnim has been continuing in his endeavors for Hollywood fame! This past month he completed his catalogue prints and auditions for some movies.
